Providing An All Rounded View

As with the original Papilio chair by Naoto Fukasawa, the Grande papilio armchair appears as a single form made of a single material. Its shape is a fluid design carved out of the trunk of an upside-down cone. Equipped with a swivel system that provides a 360 degree view of the room, this armchair sets itself apart thanks to its organic and statuesque design.

Tradition Recollection

Febo is a group of sofas and chairs recalling a very traditional type marked by a large, enveloping backrest without armrests and a cover of a single material, namely fabric or leather. The sofa comes in two sizes, a smaller and a larger one. The former offers two different heights for the seat, 40cm and 47cm. Antonio citterio designed the latter to be matched with a dining table. The same series also includes two armchairs, with either a low or high backrest.

No Fuss

“No exaggeration, practical, elegant and comfortable,” the Chinese manufacturer says of the White Jade sofa. It is made of a wooden structure with resilient foam, fabric and polyester filling. Frames are embedded for a clean and sleek look. Finished in high-density velvet, it offers a great tone with patterns.

Design Possibilities

“Featuring interesting and unique design possibilities, geometric shapes create the best ignition for creativity,” says the German designer of the Chemistry seating featured here. The modular product could be an individual armchair, a love seat for two, or in case of a stretched variation, a cosy and social sofa. The main body is produced in laser cute polyurethane foam, which permits the whole equipment to be acceptably light, positioned over a frame of wood, and covered at the end with a combination of fine fabrics.
