Marketing Department Restructure For Bob’s Discount Furniture

CONNECTICUT, USA: The expansion and revamp of Bob’s Discount Furniture’s marketing department have seen industry veteran Steve Nesle named chief marketing officer to head the group.

Bob’s hit the $1 billion milestone in 2015 with 73 stores and counting. Bob’s marketing department’s restructure and new talent support will keep pace with its fast growth. The furniture company will combine their existing departments like strategy and analytics, digital, social media and e-commerce, production and creative departments into one cohesive marketing department.

Nesle was previously in executive creative leadership roles within Deutsch, DDB, McCann Workgroup and Digitas and other agencies, and had been consulting with Bob’s for a year before this recent appoinment.

“Integrating marketing function under one umbrella will help ensure that ideas flow easily across functions and can bubble up from anywhere,” said Nesle. “This is an exciting and pivotal time for Bob’s and the entire furniture retail space. I’m thrilled to be joining this great team.”

Adam Kasper has also been brought on the team as the vice president of marketing. Kasper was preciously in Havas Media as the chief media officer, overseeing 300 people across all of Havas’ offices in US. Vice president of e-commerce, Stacey Karagiannis will be partnering with Kasper in the new marketing department.
