Greycork Launches Flat Pack Furniture

RHODE ISLAND, USA: The reasonably priced and design-conscious furniture brand, Greycork will ship its new Home Try Out kit after the launch of its real-time online order service. Greycork also announced their brick-and-mortar showroom at its headquarters in Province, RI following their $1 million seed funding close.

According to Business Wire, Greycork was involved in the largest-ever furniture campaign on Indiegogo which generated a large number of pre-orders in 2016. The company have since made key hires that include Lilly Pulitzer’s former Director of Retail and revealed a new website for real-time orders that ships within 1-5 days from their warehouse in Province.

Greycork’s new Home Try-Out kit is practical and engaging way for consumers to experience their products at home before they purchase. Customers can order the Home Try-Out kit online while local customers can visit Greycork’s showroom in Province.

“The furniture industry is ripe for creative disruption,” said a Partner at ff Venture Capitol, John Frankel. “Greycork is doing this through simple assembly of beautifully designed, high-value pieces; all at a reasonable price. They remove middlemen, retail markup, delay, and the generally unpleasant experience inherent in the traditional furniture shopping process. Greycork appeals to a millennial consumer base that has higher expectations, and as they operate a leaner business model they can deliver a superior product and experience at lower prices.”

“The furniture business is one of the last remaining legacy consumer markets that has yet to evolve to meet the needs of today’s consumers, especially millennials, which are now the largest base of furniture consumers in the U.S.,” said John Humphrey, Founder and CEO of Greycork. “At Greycork, we believe we’ve solved that problem by designing affordable, sophisticated, and durable furniture that consumers can try before they buy, order online, and assemble or disassemble at a moment’s notice.”
