Pepperfry To Branch Out To B2b Bespoke Services

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Pepperfry, furniture marketplace, launched their B2C bespoke services in 2015 and will be branching out to B2B bespoke services which will cater to corporate offices, hotels, schools and cafes that would create more revenue for the company.

Somali Mitra, head of Pepperfry Bespoke said that Pepperfry’s bespoke services make up 10 percent of their revenue with half of that coming from B2B services. “We realized design is to restricted to homes - it could be done in offices, schools, hotels or hospitality projects,” said Mitra. “A lot of schools from tier 2 and 3 cities are our clients, who ask for interesting-looking kids’ furniture.”

Bespoke service includes looking through and choosing from curated designs to the final product, reported Economic Times. Four design consultants are deployed in four cities for this purpose. Virtual design consultants are also available for customers in other cities.
