THE ELEGANCE OF DESIGN

HOMI, the lifestyles show organised by Fiera Milano, is coming up on its fifth edition, and is planned for fieramilano from 29 January to 1 February 2016.

This edition, which is always so exciting and chock full of offerings as we look toward the spring, is preparing to welcome the most interesting design ideas for the home and the individual with an updated version of the format that has become so popular because it is so adaptable to trends and requests from professionals.

The themed satellite sections - Living Habits, Home Wellness, Fragrances & Personal Care, Fashion & Jewels, Gifts & Events, Garden & Outdoor, kid Style, Home Textiles, Hobby & Work – are truly the stars of the show, along with different special areas and events at HOMI, which are, as always, focused on business, conviviality and experimentation.

These are the areas of HOMI that interpret and dictate a style that is identifiable and well defined, making it easier and all the more exciting to see the products and enjoy everything on offer. Among these areas, we’d first like to point out Creazioni, Creazioni Designer and HOMI Sperimenta, dedicated to artful craftsmanship and businesses, many of which are very small. These are businesses that bring together the essence of innovation and refinement with the concept of handiwork applied to the innovation of techniques and materials for objects that marry design and tradition.

At the Living Habits satellite, the stars will again be Dining&Kitchen and the value of entertaining, which represents one of the most interesting aspects of HOMI. There will be no lack of training opportunities, innovation, creativity and taste to draw in professionals from across the industry. Also, the HOMI FOOD area will be dedicated to the finest quality food products distinguished by significant research in the substance and in the form, namely, the packaging. On display, original ideas inspired by the world of design and “taste” in every sense.

HOMISPHERE is also confirmed for the next show. This is HOMI’s concept that interprets new lifestyles in terms of food/ wine, hospitality and contract project and HOMI OUTDOOR is also planned. This project focuses on beauty, making the most of design in spaces and objects meant for that interesting area that is outdoor.

HOMI WELLNESS continues on its path, coming up with new lifestyles by starting with the relaxing area of wellness, while HOMI KIDS STYLE will have bigger space to show new, and fantastic dimension devoted to the kids.

In the January edition visitor also find the Festivity area, devoted to Christmas decoration and festivities and a new edition of the show dedicated to the masters and masterpieces of Italian costume jewellery , focused this time on Bijoux in the 1970s and ‘80s.

Finally, there is to be no lack of training events dedicated to retailers, designers, interior designers, architects, makers of personal accessories and all of the professionals who transform beauty into a concrete experience for living spaces and the body.
