Showcasing The Best Quality And Design Of Turkey

The Istanbul Furniture Fair (ISMOB) is a global platform for the Turkish furniture industry, gathering manufacturers, designers and buyer on a yearly basis in CNR EXPO.

To be held from 28 January to 2 February 2014, ISMOB 2014 is to be held in cooperation between CNR Ekspo Fuarcılık, an establishment of CNR Holding, and MOSDER an association of Turkish furniture industrialists.

ISMOB 2014 will play host to over 300 exhibitors in an area of 120,000 sqm in the modern halls of Istanbul CNR EXPO. A great number of companies from Kayseri, Ankara, İstanbul, Bursa, İnegöl ve İzmir where manufacturing is concentrated will be in attendance. The event will showcase Modern, classic, aged and modular furniture, beds and sets of bedding, armchairs, chairs and couches, baby’s and teen rooms and furniture accessories.

A key platform to aid Turkey’s furniture export, ISMOB 2014 will also host the award ceremony of the Furniture Design Competition. The young designers of modern Turkey will introduce their new models to professional visitors in the fair.

According to the organisers of ISMOB, the Turkish furniture manufacturers have achieved success globally in the recent years in various categories such as on panel furniture, seating groups, chair-stool, bedding, furniture accessories and components, garden and kitchen furnitures. Exporting to more than 200 countries on five continent, Turkish furniture is well know for its quality, workmanship and design.

Although faced with intense competition worldwide, Turkey’s furniture export is increasing on the rise. According to data provided by MOSDER, the country’s total export for 2012 saw a 15% increase to US dollars 1.849.467.042 compared to the previous year. A 10% increase is expected for 2013. Turkey The Turkish furniture industry is aiming to become 5th largest furniture manufacturer in the word with a projected export value of 10 billion dollars in 2023.
