ORGATEC 2014
Cologne, GermanyOctober 21-25, 2014
HOLISTIC SOLUTIONS
From 21 to 25 October 2014, the ORGATEC fair will focus on
holistic solutions and overall concepts from all of the relevant
sectors to do with the working and habitat space “office”.
In Cologne, leading national and international manufacturers
from the furnishing, flooring, acoustic, lighting, media and
conference technology sectors will be presenting their products
and services to industry players from all over the globe: From
start-up founders, to distributors and decision-makers from
medium-sized companies, through to the purchasers of a DAX
company.
The international leading trade fair for Modern Office & Facility
is not restricted to solutions just for the traditional office. It
also presents comprehensive furniture and set-up solutions for
public spaces.
According to organisers, even six and a half months before
the ORGATEC begins in Cologne, more than 95 per cent
of the available stand space has been rented. The rate of
booking is even higher than at the same point in time for the
last ORGATEC fair. More than 400 companies have confirmed
their participation in the trade fair so far. This translates to an
increase over previous event.
The organisers reported that all major exhibitors have already
registered and the industry is regarding ORGATEC 2014 very
optimistically. Some of the names among those in attendance
are Bene, Carpet Concept, Dauphin, Durable, Haworth, Hay,
Interface, Interstuhl, Kommtech, König + Neurath, Rehau,
Sedus Stoll, Stoll Giroflex, Tobias Grau, Unifor, Vitra and Walter
Knoll.
The trade fair will once again excel in 2014 as a result of its
high level of internationality. Over two thirds of the exhibiting
companies come from abroad.
The organisers are looking forward to welcoming a really strong
presence from Italy. Italian companies will represent 8,000 m²
of fair space (49 companies). Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Turkey,
France and Great Britain are also well represented.
