ESPRITMEUBLE 2015 - Promises kept

With 300 brands and 8742 visitors ESPRITMEUBLE played its part in bringing together furniture professionals, ESPRITMEUBLE has confirmed its place as the business meeting for the furniture sector despite having a slightly lower footfall (-6% compared with 2014).

This annual event closed its doors on 8 December with a positive balance sheet given the general climate of December 2015. However, the reduction remains limited in relation to the defections observed by the organisers of professional trade fairs, for which they are estimated to be between 5 and 15%. The 2 strong points for this 4th staging were ever more qualified visitors and an offer which was 95% representative of the market. 65% of visitors were managers, versus 47% in 2014, which represents a progression of 27%.

The decision-makers came and were particularly receptive to the new exhibitors and the new products presented. The visitors were able to see the efforts made by each manufacturer to promote its products, combining consumer services and technological innovations. Despite a difficult economic climate ESPRITMEUBLE has been able to satisfy the majority of its exhibitors.

An enriched offer due to the 300 brands present (i.e. a 50% increase compared with 2014). This year the Trade Fair had newcomers in all sizes and all families. Emblematic brands, such as Stressless, Calligaris and even Himolla, have joined past participants and provided wonderful diversity, enabling visitors to make new discoveries. So the ESPRITMEUBLE 2015 offer was balanced and represented 95% of the market.

For 2016, the Trade Fair would like to enrich the “furniture” category, more especially the “contemporary furniture” category, and renew the service aisles, particularly the decoration aisle which attracted visitors who found a complementary offer there for the presentations in their sales outlets.

This 2015 staging carried many promises and all these have been kept. Industrialists, distributors and influencers have been able to judge the quality of this staging. ESPRITMEUBLE contributes to the pride of belonging to a fast changing sector, which never ceases to progress year on year.

“Contributing to encouraging the business of companies”, this is the main objective of the Trade Fair, the next staging of which will take place from 3 to 6 December 2016 in Halls 7.2 and 7.3 of the Parc de Porte de Versailles.
